Hey there, beer lover! Ready to craft your perfect Malted Merch? Think of it like brewing your own unique beer—just with way less mess and more awesome apparel. Here’s how to make it happen! We recommend using a desktop or a laptop for this step as this process can be really fiddly on a small screen.
Step 1: Pick Your Product (Like Choosing Your Favorite Brew)
Start by choosing your base product—just like picking a solid lager to build your night around. Don’t stress if you change your mind; you can swap it out at any time.
Step 2: Check Out the Blank Product
You’ll see a blank canvas, just waiting for your creative touch. You can keep it plain if that’s your vibe (like a classic pilsner) or click to start customizing and add your design.
Step 3: Choose Your Flavor—Color, Size, and Quantity
Before you get creative, pick your colors and sizes. It’s like deciding between a hazy IPA or a crisp amber—make sure it suits your style!
Step 4: Hit “Start Designing”
Click the button and get ready to work your magic. This opens up the design tool, where the real brewing begins.
Step 5: Choose Your Design Type (DTG or DTF)
You’ll see a popup asking what type of design you want: DTG, Embroidery or DTF. Think of it like choosing between a bottle or a can—same great flavor, just a different delivery method. (P.S. We don’t have embroidery yet—stay tuned!). Click Continue to close the Pop Up - We will choose a placement first.
Step 6: Pick Your Placement
Your blank merch will show up on the screen. Now, it’s time to decide where your design goes. Front and center? Back label? Or maybe just a small chest logo? We recommend the main front or back for big, bold designs—like a flagship brew—and the left chest for smaller, logo-type graphics. Choose your placement on the right side of the screen.
Step 7: Add Your Design
Click “Add Design” from the top panel. Another popup will appear, asking you to choose your method (DTG or DTF). To learn more about DTG and DTF click HERE. Once you’re sorted, choose your desired printing process.
Step 8: Choose Your Artwork
A Pop up will appear. You can either use one of our store designs (like grabbing a trusted house ale) or upload your own custom creation. Don’t worry, you can swap it out anytime. In the left panel of the pop up choose Store Designs.
Step 9: Adjust and Fine-Tune
Drag the corners to resize your design. You’ll notice the price in the top panel changes as you go—just like upgrading from a pint to a growler. Keep an eye on the Quality Bar on the left—green or orange means your design’s looking good. You can even change colors on some designs—like picking the perfect pint.
Please Note: The design Size indicated in the design tool is the actual size of the print on the item and may not look exactly as it appears on the mockup. You don't want to make your design too big or too small. A good indicator would be to keep your design for front prints between 21cm and 24cm wide.
Step 10: Get It Just Right
Align your design using the drag feature or the alignment tools in the left panel of the screen. You can rotate or flip your design, too—whatever matches your vibe.
Step 11: Add More or Finalize
Feeling fancy? Add more designs or text, like a team name. When you’re happy with your creation, raise a virtual toast to your awesome design and hit that “Finish” button!
